Founded in 2005, Me to We Responsible Style is a fast-growing social enterprise provides ethically manufactured quality apparel for socially responsible consumers, organizations and companies. Fifty percent of profits go directly to our charity partner Free the Children – the world’s largest network of children helping children through education.
We are currently looking to hire a Part-Time Warehouse Operator. Primarily based out of the Me to We Style Warehouse located at Keel & Hwy-7, the Warehouse Operator will process our wholesale and custom orders and maintain our warehouse inventory. This will be a part-position to start (approx. 16-24 hr/week, with flexible scheduling). There is high potential for additional hours starting in the summer months and opportunity to turn into a full-time position.
KEY FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITES
• Execute custom and wholesale orders: picking& packing garments, preparing them for the appropriate next step in the production process.
• Receive and stock in-coming shipments.
• Perform quality control of incoming shipments and finished goods.
• Arrange shipment of finished goods to end customer by preparing appropriate shipping documents and scheduling shipment pickups.
• Perform inventory control: organize inventory and update stock changes in inventory control software.
• Ensure warehouse tidiness and proactively prevent inventory theft and loss.
• Liaising between warehouse, operations and sales teams.
• Facilitate online order processing and tradeshow/event preparation when required.
KEY ATTRIBUTES
• Strong sense of responsibility and work ethic.
• Highest attention to detail.
• Adept at independent work and teamwork.
• Proficient in MS Outlook and MS Excel software and willing learning new inventory control program.
• Able to lift 40 pounds.
OTHER DESIRABLE ASSETS
• Drivers License and access to a vehicle.
• Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator.
• Flexibility to work out of Toronto head office when necessary.
