Winter explanation

The winter is time of scheduled servicing of the Matrix...
|
In order to free-up computing resources, the light day is reduced, the plants are cleared from their leaves, and the sky is covered with the even-grey color. This requires less work to computes a picture.
In earlier years it was also common to cover everything with an even layer of white snow, but installation of new powerful servers made this practice optional.
Some people say that the next
upgrade would make the superficial winter absolutely pointless. |
